The wine's beautiful ruby red color is complemented by a wild berry nose with hints of vanilla oak. The taste profile is balanced between fruit and oak, and has nice acidity that should allow the wine to hold for years from the bottling date. The wine also has gritty tannins that should taper off with proper aging into a more rounded palate. Flavors of red cherry and red cassis are on the forefront of each sip, with more woody flavors being revealed on a mouthwatering finish.

Cocoa, raspberry jam, and dried fig highlight a bright, fresh nose that quickly settles into a steady parade of baking spices, black pepper, and earth.
Palate Deceptively soft initially, the wine builds with its viscosity and concentration amidst layers of ripe plum, very fine tannins, and espresso bean. A lively ginger note adds a touch of spice, bolstered by dried cherry, tobacco, and fresh bright cranberries.
Finish The finish is laser-focused, mineral-driven and persistent, not unexpected in young Cabernet. Delicious now, it will add breadth and polish with time in glass.

NOSE :Golden straw-colored in the glass, the wine opens with cinnamon and ripe peach, bolstered by aromas of melon and pear. More fruity than floral upon release, there’s nonetheless plenty of honeysuckle and spice, softening to green apple and vanilla.
PALATE: Initially fused with lemon curd and ripe orange, there’s dynamic tension transitioning to the mid palate between the suppleness of summer stone fruit and the austere acid beneath. the citrus lingers as well, amidst a billowy texture that bolsters the bare minerality, contrasted only by the whisper-soft hint of fresh baked bread.

Historic property in Pomerol, Château Taillefer is one of the crus that were accounted for on the map of France established in 1776 by the geographer of Louis XV. And, since the Napoleonic land register where Château Taillefer, its cellars and its plots were described with the utmost precision, all has been preciously conserved for over two centuries.
The famous iron deposits, characteristic of the terroir of Pomerol, those are at the origin of the name of Taillefer. They impart complexity to the wine together with minerality and aromas of truffles and violets. It was recounted by elders that the plow « toils the iron » from having lifted and turned over countless amounts of iron oxide in the vineyards of Taillefer.

This wine's intense pink rose petal color is slightly darker and more robust than the rosés of nearby Provence, which is indicative of the wine itself. A nose of macerated strawberries, raspberries, and peaches, with a faint earthy and peppery base, comes together with a fresh clay minerality on the soft, round, and slightly weighty palate.
Well-integrated ripe cherry skin acidity is key in retaining this sturdy rosé's balance and freshness, making it a fine companion for richer foods like grilled lamb loin chops, burgers, spicy sausages, fresh tomato sauced pastas, and mezze platters.

Intense blackberry, bramble, and lavender aromas with gentle nuances of potting soil and cured meat dominate a dark and brooding nose. The abundance of perfume and the earthy character of the nose follows through generously onto a powerful palate, with a lush compote of blueberries, ripe plums, black currants & cherries. Cacao-powdery tannins are abundant, adding texture and complexity to an almost savoury mid-palate, seamlessly complementing the vivid dark fruits, alcohol and acidity. This is a robust, structured wine, yet it is delicate, poised and elegant at the same time. Black fruits, cumin spice, white pepper, liquorice and hints of garrigue persist on a velvety finish.

All about precision and texture. There's clearly a lot of concentration and underlying power in the focused core. It's chalky and all sinew on the almost chewy, lengthy finish, giving it line and energy. The scent of almond croissant from barrel fermentation and lees time lingers alongside apple fruit. Really good stuff that will only get better with time in bottle.
