92 POINTS WINE ENTHUSIAST
Superb value in Oregon Pinot Gris. Rich, concentrated flavors of Meyer lemon, honey, crisp apple and peaches with a splash of cream dive deep down through the palate
Illahe pinot gris is layered with complex fruit and starts with notes of crisp granny smith apple, bright lemon zest, and hints of clove, paired with light notes of papaya and starfruit. Part of the fruit from the 2018 pinot gris is from our estate vineyard and part is from our neighbors at Erratic Oaks Vineyard. Both sites are heavily influenced by the Mount Pisgah weather patterns and soil structures. It is also influenced by the neutral oak it is vinified in, which adds creaminess and texture with lingering flavors of almond butter and a spicy finish of cardamom creates an exciting and flavorful wine that is sure to leave you wanting more.
Aromas of sharp green apples and stone fruits are underscored with green tea and honeysuckle notes. Screaming acidity and a juicy finish make this the perfect food wine to pair with spicy foods or meats and cheeses.
The wine is a pale golden color. The aromas leaping from the glass have white peach, green apple, and a nice tropical pineapple overlay. The flavors center around the nice quince and peach notes with strong citrus contributions, evoking thoughts of lime blossoms and Meyer lemons. The mouthfeel is quite full and rich, with a pleasingly tart finish.
$21.00Scarpetta Pinot Grigio showcases some of the best sites in Friuli-Venezia Giulia for this aromatic varietal — starting with the light, gravely soils of the Grave region. This gives it a crisp, clean minerality. Additionally, 30% of our Pinot Grigio is planted on "Ponca" soil in the Colli Orientali on steep hillsides. The combination of the Grave and Colli Orientali let us produce a wine which has body, bright acidity, and great minerality.
$24.00Honeydew melon, white peach, kaffir lime with spicy notes of cardamon, clove and floral aromatics of pear blossom and candied orange make this appealing nose leap from the glass. The fresh palate is defined by tangerine and kumquat acidity intermingled with apricot and green tea.
$25.00Tikka was Eric Lemelson’s Great Pyrenees dog who loved to patrol the perimeter of our Pinot gris vineyards. This wine is a tribute to her. Tikka’s Run Pinot gris is sourced from Wascher Vineyard (a lower elevation site) and Chestnut Hill Vineyard (a higher elevation site). Both sites have very different microclimates and soil types which makes for unique growing conditions and distinctive wine characteristics that work very well with each other once blended. The wine has bright pear, lemon peel, melon and white flower notes that go into a long, mineral and citrus-driven finish. A good fraction of this wine was barrel fermented, which really helps round out the richness of the wine and bring it into balance with the wine’s crisp, acidic backbone.
A refreshing blend of Pinot Grigio and Garganega that produces a light, nicely acidic quaffable wine.
The color is straw yellow. The bouquet is delicate with complex floral notes. The wine is dry, pleasantly fresh and well-balanced
Delicious on its own or to savor with salads, white fish and chicken

$16.00COLOR: Brilliant yellow with golden highlights.
Alsatian Pinot Gris has highly regarded characteristics compared to its Italian and New World American counterparts. Grown and produced in Northeast France, the volcanic and limestone soils provide the perfect canvas for a wine of superlatives and class.
The wines are full-bodied, with a flavorful bouquet of lime, meyer lemon, green apple, pear, and white peach. They exemplify the notions of ripeness, spice, and high acidity. Expect Alsatian Pinot Gris to be a little spendier than other varieties of this grape.
$40.00Delightful aromatics are enhanced by a refreshingly mineral mouthfeel and lingering finish. A mélange of Asian pear and summer nectarine greet the nose, followed by subtler notes of fragrant white flowers, fresh Granny Smith apples, and tangerine zest. On the palate, citrus-kissed stone fruit complements star fruit and green apple leading to a lingering finish of peach and grapefruit.
