Fresh green lime, lemon sorbet, crisp cucumber aromas with hints of fresh cut lemongrass, pink peppercorn and wisteria blossom. A subtle saline character reminiscent of celery salt and sea spray entwines with pink grapefruit and tarragon notes.

An incredibly fragrant nose full of sweet apricot and gingery spice. The palate is luscious and generous, but has great acid which tightens the wine, adding freshness and a clean crisp finish. Slight pithy feel which builds on the spice notes. Lovely as a fresh stand alone drink that still exhibits some mouthfeel, or equally well adapted to enjoying with a range of foods from freshly shucked oysters through to spicy Thai style dishes.
With the use of an age-old, robust, pink-skinned Madeira clone, found mainly in the Barossa, and maturation in both stainless steel and seasoned French barriques, the Woodcutter’s Semillon is reminiscent of the savoury, food friendly white wines found in the central and southern regions of France.
It is not a typically lemony Semillon, showing more complex aromas of smoked almonds and honeysuckle as well as buttery textures from the natural malolactic fermentation.
Plump and spicy, with sarsaparilla, cream soda and nutmeg accents to the core of plush, ripe raspberry preserve and cherry compote notes. Great harmony and a polished, smooth body add to the charm.
This is a sturdy, full-bodied wine that offers up aromas of ripe plum and cherry laced with dried green herbs and a savory streak of raw meat and mushrooms. The savory, drying tannins pack a punch, but the acidity and fruit weight back it up. It finishes on a note of tangy blueberry. Drink now–2023.

This is a soul-warming, hug-in-a-glass Shiraz from one of Australia's most historic estates. It busts out peppery spice and herbs atop plump plum and dark-berry fruit with a dusty terra cotta bass note. The palate is equally fruit-and-spice driven, rich and silky in texture, but tightened up with savory, sinewy tannins. An unabashedly sun-drenched Shiraz, but one that is ultra approachable in spite of itself.
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2009 Descendent has 8% co-fermented Viognier in the blend which lends lovely floral, peach blossom and violet aromas to complement an intense blueberry preserves, dark chocolate and star anise aromatic core. Very full and rich, it has a lovely acid vibrancy alongside medium to firm, very fine tannins and a long finish.
