This wine takes me to the southern Rhône with its mineral aspects, wild Herbs de Provence, and lavender. Hoisin sauce and sweet black cherry and plum notes. Totally giving on the front palate, all the way to a finish that seems to just keep going and going.

A touch of a cooler year in the Russian River has provided us with a Petite Sirah that, reminds me more of blend of Cornas and Côte Rôtie. Its purple, black color has hints of dark ruby on the rim. If you’re into blackberry pie filling in a perfectly baked pie shell, this wine is for you.
