This well-balanced Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from cool-climate vineyards in the southern end of the Sonoma Coast AVA. The Grossi vineyard north of Petaluma contributes spice and bright, tangy acidity. The Leveroni vineyard south of Sonoma adds the unique floral character of the Sauvignon “musqué” clone. "Camille" is a pretty, very pale pink-orange color with aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry, rose, and citrus, along with a hint of stone fruits. The palate is light and elegant, showcasing subtle berry fruits, a hint of citrus and stone, and nice density and length. This is a light and lovely rosé for year-round enjoyment, whether sipped alone or paired with grilled fish, white meats, salade Niçoise, and mild cheeses—and it's a fabulous value! Domaine Turenne, northeast of Bandol in Provence, produces this lovely rosé from 40% Cinsault, 50% Grenache, and 10% Syrah, all certified organic. Certified in Organic Agriculture, this wine is made from the white Aligoté grape variety grown in the Hautes Côtes-de-Nuits appellation zone, on clay-limestone and marl soils. Average age of the vines: 25-35 years.

A rare find from a small estate in the massive Bordeaux region of France. The grapes for this Graves blend are sourced from a small six hectare vineyard on gravel and clay soils. Condrieu has the best terroir in the world for the Viognier grape. That is not to say, however, that it is easy to make great Viognier here. Without a gifted vigneron, the wine will veer into flabbiness. It takes significant skill and experience to make a Condrieu of finesse. Even though the grape is relatively low in acidity, the sandy soils and Lionel’s touch render this blanc remarkably fresh.

Each year we make a Chardonnay Pet Nat and it is always one of our favorites. We bottled this wine that was fermented in 50% neutral French oak and 50% tank until it was just about dry. We then racked it all into one large tank and dropped the temperature down to stop fermentation so we could bottle after harvest. Once we were ready, we raised the temperature back up and allowed the wine to kick off, finally bottling it while it was still fermenting and had 11 g/L residual sugar. The result is salty, delicious, and quaffable bubbles.
