We developed our new young vineyard, the Field of Dreams, by trying out a handful of underutilized varietals. Bourgogne aligoté is a delicious white wine that is young, stylish and is a little different. It is pale gold in color and offers a well-balanced taste, and ranges from a fruity bouquet with notes of apple and lemon to a more floral palette. In the mouth, this vibrant wine tickles the taste buds.
Certified in Organic Agriculture, this wine is made from the white Aligoté grape variety grown in the Hautes Côtes-de-Nuits appellation zone, on clay-limestone and marl soils. Average age of the vines: 25-35 years.

A rare find from a small estate in the massive Bordeaux region of France. The grapes for this Graves blend are sourced from a small six hectare vineyard on gravel and clay soils. The Sémillon really comes out in a glass as well as contributing a richer texture on the palate. Notes of soft melon, bright citrus and a stony finish are on display.

Condrieu has the best terroir in the world for the Viognier grape. That is not to say, however, that it is easy to make great Viognier here. Without a gifted vigneron, the wine will veer into flabbiness. It takes significant skill and experience to make a Condrieu of finesse. Even though the grape is relatively low in acidity, the sandy soils and Lionel’s touch render this blanc remarkably fresh.
