$28.00Soft and consistent with an excellent balance of acidity and tannins; velvety smooth; closes with lingering sensations of cocoa and coffee.
$75.00Showing the influence of the breezy and fog-laced Oak Knoll District, offers rich, plush fruit, delicate acidity and a structure defined by well-ripened tannins. Layered notes of black cherry, raspberry, sandalwood, bergamot, cloves, blueberry, and balsam on the nose. Delicate, yet rich with plum compote, violets, and baking spice on the palate. An ideal vintage of the Black Chicken that, with proper cellaring, will continue to improve for the next 5-7 years
The Prisoner was inspired by the “mixed blacks” first made by the Italian immigrants who originally settled in Napa Valley. The Prisoner is now the most recognized Napa Valley red blend, leading the resurgence of interesting blends by incorporating Zinfandel with the unlikely mix of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Syrah, and Charbono.
Features enticing aromas of Bing cherry, dark chocolate, clove, and roasted fig. Persistent flavors of ripe raspberry, boysenberry, pomegranate, and vanilla linger harmoniously, for a smooth and luscious finish.
$24.00Multi-vintage blend of declassified fruit from Morgan Twain-Peterson MW's Bedrock Vineyard in Sonoma County. Mainly Zinfandel. Mid ruby. Thyme, baked, mixed fruit, dusty minerality and some white-pepper tones, with dark-chocolate and clove hints -- nice depth and complexity. Chewy, quite firm tannins, with depth of mixed-berry, savoury, spicy fruit and a decent-length, chocolate finish. Classic old-vine Zin blend from a master craftsman.
