This Brut Rosé has an eye-catching pink coral color, robust red fruit flavors and an elegant finish. Pinot Noir is responsible for the wine’s soft texture and forward fruitiness, while the Chardonnay contributes structure and elegance.
A beautiful pink coral color and fresh, vivid aromas of black cherries, red berries and citrus introduce soft red fruit flavors that are rich and mouth-filling, yet retain the elegant character that is Mumm Napa’s trademark.

Intense was the first word that came to mind. Purely focused tannin weaves its way through the core of this wine. Has a savory characteristic with an exceptionally long finish. While this vineyard has been described as “feminine” in the past, that is certainly not the case for this bigger, bolder vintage!

The Cabernet Sauvignon in this blend comes from two different blocks in the highly acclaimed UC Davis Oakville Station, in the heart of “Cabernet Country”. The North Station is adjacent to the illustrious To Kalon vineyard.

Deep ruby color almost all the way to the rim. Initial aromas of cocoa, butterscotch, dark berry and evergreen. In pre-release tasting, tannins still had a firm grip on this wine, but with air, aromas soften and deepen, and more fruit and spice emerges—in contrast to the more immediately accessible 2014 wines. Decanting highly recommended. Mouthfeel is full, tannins fine-textured, but firm, giving the wine a softly chalky texture that will marry happily with steaks seasoned with rosemary and porcini, rack of lamb, or a savory, rib-sticking, polenta and short ribs.
