Initial dark fruit, spice and baking aromas in the 2015 Opus One are interwoven with seductive notes of violet, black tea, and sage.
The entry is vibrant with ripe dark fruit flavors of plum, blackberry and blueberry followed by hints of vanilla and cocoa. Silky, fine-grained tannins provide structure and a creamy texture. The wine finishes with fresh acidity and a rich, lingering finish that promises longevity in the cellar.

Aromas of ripe blackberry, currant, dark cherry and baking spices lift from the glass of this elegant mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. The lush mouthfeel shows dark fruit coupled with hints of cedar and anise. Bright acidity is balanced by rounded tannins with a touch of black pepper on the finish. Pair with grilled bone-in ribeye in rosemary butter with roasted root vegetables or a medium rare cheeseburger with aged cheddar, sautéed mushrooms and grilled onions. Drink now through 2035.
46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Cabernet Franc, 18% Petit Verdot and 5% Merlot
Continuum has heightened citrus blossom and rose petal aromatics, and builds in power and presence on the palate with cassis, dark fruits, bergamot, and dried wild herb with notes of cigar box and leather. Exquisitely balanced, 2016 is expansive and sinewy on the mid palate with a graphite and earthy minerality. The firm iron core of these volcanic soils causes the vines to struggle, producing fewer but more flavorful berries. That is expressed in Continuum’s vibrancy, many layers and assertive structure, all of which pay homage to its origin.
A mouthful of red fruit; cherries, wild berries and fresh plum greet you upon tasting this year’s harmonious blend of Shiraz and Cabernet. The two compliment each other seamlessly as vanilla and dark chocolate integrate with cinnamon spice and notes of mocha to form the perfect balance. Silky tannins give this enjoyable wine phenomenal length, allowing your taste buds to continue to dance long after the last sip.
Ten is named for the ten Pinot Noir clones found on the estate vineyard. A very masculine wine, it is brooding and intense, with firm, mature tannins and a long, velvety finish. Ten is not for the faint-of-heart and has been known, on occasion, to convert even the most fanatic Cabernet lover.
