A touch of a cooler year in the Russian River has provided us with a Petite Sirah that, reminds me more of blend of Cornas and Côte Rôtie. Its purple, black color has hints of dark ruby on the rim. Mixed in are subtle hints of dried apricots and peaches and savory notes that adds an extra dimension to the aromatics.
