Deep ruby in color, the 2016 Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon expresses intense fragrances of black currants, ripe black cherries and blackberries with subtle notes of violets, mocha and dried spices. It’s a big, powerful, modern-styled wine with velvety tannins and heaps of juicy blackberry and cherry fruit, while nuances of cedar, clove and vanilla bean round out the long, smooth finish. It’s full bodied, rich and balanced by fresh acidity with a supple, polished tannin structure.

This Castle Rock Cabernet is a deliciously full wine loaded with nuance and flavor. It is deep garnet in color and has aromas of blackberries, cherry, and cassis. on the palate, it has supple tannins and flavors of ripe plum and dark fruit finishing with a hint of cedar.
Pronounced Lah-GRAYHN or Lah-GRINE, this cool climate, high-elevation red varietal is a 500 year-old cross between Teroldego and Pinot Noir.
The Praxis Central Coast vineyard has similar climatic properties and was the first American vineyard planted to the varietal. The color of the wine is deep, saturated purple with red highlights.
Aromas of Bing cherry, violets and dark roses evidencing the Pinot Noir heritage of the grape waft from the glass followed by hints of toasted hazelnut from the French oak. On the palate, flavors of pomegranate, blackberry and cherry are complemented by notes of dark chocolate and mocha on the finish. The wine is full in the mid-palate with a long finish and soft dusty tannins.

Opaque, dark ruby color introduces this wine that expresses dark fruit aroma and flavors. With spicy sweet oak complexity, the wine exudes dark fruit such as blackberry, black currant, blueberry and dark cherry. There are nuances of dark chocolate, chocolate berry truffle dusted with cocoa powder, cola, aromatic cedar, cinnamon, clove, graham crackers and a hint of tobacco. The body is very full with a soft entry, coupled with dark cherry/berry flavors that develop from start to finish. With great texture and mouth feel, this Cabernet is full-bodied, rich and opulent. A blend of Negroamaro and Nero d’Avola from the Southern region of Puglia combined with Barbera from Piemonte in the North.
A vast array of aromas escape the glass—black cherry, nutmeg, cinnamon, and cured meat—which are complemented by shades of sandalwood, vanilla, balsa and evergreen. The entry is silky smooth with a textured mid-palate of velvety fig, blueberry jam and soft oak. A hint of sea salt on the finish is rounded out with a mouthfeel that fades slowly.
